Privilege Of Free Information
What is going on in the cyberspace right now? Trending the SOPA/PIPA bill that the US Congress is wanting to pass. It is becoming a very serious issue on the Internet community. The SOPA or Stop Online Piracy Act (Congress 2011) is a counterpart of the PIPA or Protect Intellectual Property Act (Senate 2008).
So let's get to what I wanted to express here. I am opposed to this. Why? Because all in all, it will cripple the Internet. Does it mean they will block connection from the outside world? Could be. There is gonna be a huge impact on websites, web browsing, e-commerce, and even online freedom of speech.
Internet user like me always surf and search using the privilege of free information. I am very thankful that the Internet is another way of communicating with family and friends.

Feeling The Blues
It is hard to leave but we have to. We are leaving Leyte and will head to Cebu tomorrow. We will fly back to Texas on the 31st. The three weeks vacation in the Philippines is truly a happiness for us. Nothing compares to the good times spent with the family. We will miss everyone...surely. Not even on the plane yet, we are feeling the blues now. I know that everyone had a great time...they are happy to see us too.
As soon as we get back to work in the USA and get our pay checks, we will start saving again for the next trip :) We are looking forward to another vacation...hopefully a month long vacation.

See Great Things In Alaska
My honey and I love watching travel shows on television. We are always mesmerized by the enchanting places the shows are featuring everyday.
There are many interesting tourist spots here in the USA that we want to visit in the future. And Alaska is in the itinerary. Alaska has the most natural attractions among the States. The Denali Park is one of the evidence that nature has been generous to the creations. It is amazing how Alaska Travel managed to maintain a very reasonable vacation accommodation to travelers from all over the world. Like my honey, I would love to visit "The Last Frontier" State in the near future.
Summer vacation is now in the mind of everyone. You, too, should go and travel Alaska. And if you get the chance, visit Governor Sarah Palin. She is a great woman.

What I Miss Back Home?
I am living here in the USA for a year now and there are a couple of things and stuff I miss so much:
I miss my mother's cooking,
...having an evening coffee with my father,
...watching cartoon movies with my niece and nephew,
...helping my youngest sister and the kids with their assignments,
...talks with my parents and siblings,
...eating meals together,
...going to market,
...riding a bus, jeepneys, and pedicabs,
...girl's talk with my friend sitting on the bench under the mango tree,
...weekend walks at the school grounds,
...the city crowds.
Sometimes my thoughts are flying here and there. Truly, I miss home.
