Possible Career in Landscaping?

One of my dear friends, who lives in a nearby town close to me, is moving.  She and her family are moving to Houston. She said it's a work-related move so she has no choice. Haha!

Kidding aside, they are listing their home for sale in the market.  So I came over to help her pack and get the landscape look pretty and presentable. It was hard work. But with the help of some of our friends, we did it.

When you have a house for sale it is very necessary to include cleaning and beautifying the yard.  Now, can this be my part time job?  Landscaping?

Four Ways a Video Tour Can Help to Sell Your Home

When it comes to techniques used to sell a house, you may picture a realtor taking photographs of the inside and outside of the home. These photos are usually printed on paper fliers and in pamphlets kept at the realtor’s office. Today, there is a high-tech way to advertise a home that is for sale. Here are four ways that a 360, 3D luxury property video tour can help to sell your home.

Presenting a Full View

For a prospective buyer, watching a 3D video tour of a home is the next best thing to actually walking around the property. A video tour shows prospective buyers the main areas in a home as well as the quiet corners of rooms. An observer can get a very good idea of the spacious quality of a home by taking a video tour.

Highlighting the Best Parts of Home

By creating a video tour, a seller can highlight the most attractive parts of his or her home and property. For instance, if the home has a beautiful, antique fountain in the garden, a video tour can capture it from all angles. An airy sunroom, a well-stocked private library or an indoor pool can all be highlighted with ease in a video tour.

Allowing Room for Imagination

A video tour is an effective way to get prospective buyers imagining themselves in the rooms of a home. For example, showing all the design details and modern appliances in the home’s kitchen will make a tremendous impression on a buyer who loves spending time creating new dishes. The person may imagine him or herself moving around the kitchen preparing a delicious recipe for friends and family. When a buyer can imagine him or herself in the home, it makes the home even more desirable.

Colorful, Memorable Images

The texture of the fabric on a sofa in the sitting room, the reflection of the sun in the window of a French door or a gathering of gleaming, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. These are just three examples of memorable images that could be captured on a video tour of a home. These images are sure to stay with the individuals taking the tour and may play a part in their final decision to buy.

Finally, a video tour can make an attractive home even more appealing to prospective buyers.

Property Listings

When we moved back here in the house, we were surprised two of our neighbors are selling their homes. My honey spoke to one of the owners. The guy said that he and his wife are splitting. That's sad.

Their homes are priced higher than what we had ours (in the market) two years ago. My honey said it's good that the homes in our neighborhood are appraised high. But at this time, people are still worried about the economy and it's effect in the real estate industry.

However, there are some people who afford to buy high-priced homes. I remember that my friend and her husband got a very nice place in Boston. She was very happy with the Bushari Group Real Estate who helped them find listings for condos in Boston. Well-furnished luxury Boston condos, that's what they're looking for. It is great to find a Boston Real Estate agent to help them achieve their goal.

I told my honey that I was thinking of living in a condo before. He did not like the idea.

Additional Charge For A Month-to-Month Basis Rental

The apartment lease renewal letter was received recently. It states that we can still avail the current rent rate if we renew our lease for another seven months. If we are not renewing, they will charge us $ 25.00 addition to the rent rate if we decide to go month-to-month basis.

My honey was thinking to go month-to-month because he does not want to be tied with another contract. And if we want to move, we just have to inform the office 60 days immediately, without waiting for the lease to expire. Also, another reason why we want the month-to-month basis is that, we would want to move in a two-room apartment unit where we can have enough space for our furniture, which is currently in storage. We have our bedroom furniture set in there. But we have the sofa and some living room furniture with us here in the apartment.

Hopefully, if we become stable in our jobs right now, we will be able to buy a new house where we can put all our furniture in there. That, also, depends if our current house for sale will get sold soon.

Free Paper

It's Saturday. As usual, Steve and I drove out of town for a weekend visit to our house for sale in Nevada. We stopped by at Denny's for breakfast. I saw a free reading material and I decided to get one since it's about one and a half hour drive to the house. I don't want to get bored and sleepy inside the Chevrolet Silverado truck. Besides, eating a heavy breakfast makes us sleepy.
Anyways, the free paper I got is called the Coffee News. I found out that this single-sheet reading material is the large publication worldwide. Distributions are done every week here in Forth Worth. It contains news articles, upcoming events (in the city), and ads that are printed in a 11x17 sheet of paper (front and back), and it has new editions weekly. In fact, it has horoscope and humor section too!
I looked up in the horoscope section and here's the read:
Libra - "You really put your heart and efforts into helping others now. A generous spirit is brougth forth in you, nurturing to your close relationships." (for Steve)
Aquarius - "This is a very good time to go to the theater or social gathering. You will want to see beautiful things and exchange pleasantries with others." (for me)
Well, Steve's horoscope is kind of right somehow. He has been busy with work this week and comes home late. Mine? Amazing! I am invited and decided to go to a Pool Party in the afternoon.
