Seems like it was last Spring that my husband and I got married. Our wedding was a garden wedding in the Spring of 2008. It was my very first time in the United States of America and I didn't know how chilly the breeze is in the Spring. My wedding dress was a Princess Halter style gown. With a little bare in the back, honestly, I was quite shivering during the wedding ceremony. No joke! Gladly the ceremony wasn't that long. We had some few portraits taken then we headed immediately to the reception in Holiday Inn Hotel.
I sure missed my family on my wedding day. If there were opportunities available for them, especially for my parents, to come over to witness my special day I could have talked my husband to that. Celebrating my big day would've have been more awesome. And I could have got this Mother of the Bride dress for my mom to wear.
There are so many gorgeous Mother of the Bride dresses and bridesmaid dresses at JJsHouse.com that all I had to do was shop and wished that my parents and siblings have had witnessed DH and I on our wedding day.

What's Your Bridal Flower?
June is the most popular wedding month of the year. So expect June brides or couples registering to get the most important document - the marriage license. Some future wives are trying to get their sexy figures back to be able to fit in their dream wedding gowns. Wedding planners are busy with organizing and coordinating the wedding theme for the big event.
One of the most important object not be forgotten on a wedding is the bouquet. The serenata florists are doing their best to accommodate orders for weddings and other special occasion. The bride has to select a type of flower for her wedding. Roses are the most sought after bridal flower. But, I think the Norma Jeane flower is adorably perfect for a bridal bouquet too!
I was very pleased how my wedding turned out four years ago. It was a garden wedding and my husband's folks did a great job with the preparation - from the flower arrangement to the venue decor. My wedding bouquet is still preserved at my mom-in-law's house up to now. That was really awesome!
How about you? What's your bridal flower?

Pre-wedding Party For Her
I had dinner with a new acquainted friend from PI this evening. Actually, she invited me to the party. It's a pre-wedding party for her and her sister-in-law. She told me it is as Gumbo Party because her fiance is from Louisiana. It is going to be a double wedding tomorrow! I cannot go to the wedding though. Conflict of schedule.
But before I head to the party, I drove by to my cousin's newly built house. Her house is completely finished and, I guess, it needs to be cleaned then she and her family can move any time they want after the closing. Oh I am so happy for my cousin. She will be living close.

Late Wedding Gift
We were invited to a wedding last month. Unfortunately, we weren't able to attend because of a sudden issue about my health. I was so eager to go but I couldn't. That would be the opportunity to see Seguin, Texas and meet my honey's relatives on his father's side for the first time.
The wedding gift that I bought for the newly weds needs to be shipped soon...as in VERY SOON, because it's been here, for like, a month now. I know it is very late but I want the married couple to know that we thought about them on their wedding day.

Shopping Formal Clothes For The Wedding
Surely my grandfather will attend his granddaughter E's wedding on the 30th of this month. I called home last night and asked my mother about the wedding. She said it is a church wedding. The family is invited and my mother is having a tight time looking for clothes to wear for the occasion. Grandpa do not have formal clothes either. So my mother went to the city with him and saw some interesting clothing in a department store. I just hope my grandpa would be comfortable wearing them :)

Wedding Plans Changed
I can say that the first two months (January-February this year) of my cousin E's arrival here in Texas has been a tough for her. First, like me, she was unaccustomed to the Winter's temperature. So is still adjusting to the Texas weather. Second, the homesickness was intense. And thirdly, her wedding plans changed. Because of some complicated reasons she and her fiance decided to get married in the Philippines. The policy of the wedding ceremony scheduling in their church did not work for them. So they might wed next year with the presence of E's family and friends, which is good for her. And maybe her oldest sister R can attend the ceremony since her visa application to Alaska is still pending. I wish my honey and I can attend too.

Mhar's Wedding
First wedding anniversary in April. We survived the first year of marriage. Yay! Besides sweet affection, a healthy marriage includes some petty arguments and misunderstandings but my honey and I are doing well so far. We are still in the adjustment period and doing fine in everything.

Sixth Month-sary Date At The Garden
For our Sixth wedding month-sary we had a lunch date at IHOP yesterday. Then we went to Fort Worth Botanic Garden after lunch. Our trip yesterday was the second part of our exploration at the park. The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is one of the beautiful relaxation destination in Texas. It was a fine day and we had fun looking around, taking pictures, and reading educational facts about plants. We found exotic plants and flowers in the conservatory. I will post some photos we took from the garden later today.
