Have you ever tried using false eyelashes?  It has been trending nowadays and the beauty enthusiasts have been posting video tutorials and photos of the look they created all over the Internet. Well, I am not a beauty enthusiast.  I am just a simple person who's interested in these things.  But I have been thinking of trying them.  Gladly I was given the chance to try these fabulous KISS Lashes complimentary from Influenster for testing and review purposes.  They came together with other awesome products in the JingleVoxBox I received during the Holidays.

So it took me 45 minutes to about an hour applying the Kiss True Volume Lashes.  Hey, I am a first-timer.  How about you?  Have you tried them?  Let me know how it went.  

Anyway, if you want to learn how to apply false eyelashes, always read the instruction in the back of lashes and the adhesive products to avoid any kind of trouble.  Make sure your hands are clean before applying false eyelashes.

You will need:

Kiss True Volume Lashes

It comes with a Kiss Strip Lash Adhesize, too.

Eyelash curler and tweezers.

Here's how to do it:

1.  Wash and dry your hands.

2.  Curl your eyelashes.

3.  Brush Kiss adhesive on the Kiss Lashes band. Wait for the adhesive to become a bit clear before application.

4.  Use the tweezers to set the Kiss Lashes on your lash line. Apply gentle pressure to let the false eyelashes to stick and dry.

There.  I have my Kiss Lashes on now. 

Honestly, I feel pretty.  Haha.  Kiss True Volume Lashes are made with 100% real hair. The strands are sturdy and won't break easily unless you tug them very hard.  Now that I know how to apply false eyelashes, I will be using these often.

Eventually, the false eyelashes will come off by itself after about eight hours.  Our eye  
movements-blinking in particular, can do that.  Removing the false eyelashes is not very difficult. Just slowly and gently peel them off from the inner part outward.  You can either use your fingers or tweezers. Be sure you wash your hands first before doing all of these. Be careful you don't hurt your eyes.

It was time to replace my old eyelash curler.  This easy-grip and no-pinch eyelash curler is just perfect to use on my small eyes.  I like it more because it comes with an extra silicone refill pad.  I am very sure that I will be using this thing more often and it will last for a very long time.

Now, how does the Tastykake Minis cupcakes taste?  To be honest, I really liked how they taste.  Made with Hershey's cocoa adds to the fine taste and flavor of the chocolate mini cupcakes.  The filling is not too sweet.  The size of each mini cupcakes is perfect for a toddler to hold and eat.  My daughter liked them so much.  I cannot wait to try other flavors of the Tastykake Minis.  The VoxBox include two $1.00 Off coupons that I can use for future purchases of the product.  Winner right?!

Cheap Product Reduces Static Cling

I am very fascinated with this anti-static sheets right now.  Besides the laundry detergent, Cuddle Soft is now my laundry buddy.  

I am so happy I found this at Walmart. So I gave it a try because I am so tired of dealing with statics and zaps whenever I pull out dried clothes from the dryer.  It was not long ago that I found this product. And I am proud to say that it works wonders in drying the clothes.

These items came in the mail just in time for Valentine's Day.  I was given the opportunity by Influenster to try the new REVEAL Calvin Klein Men fragrance.  Included in the Voxbox is a mini card holder which is very ideal for business cards.

Good timing for Valentine's Day, I was thinking of giving my husband a new fragrance.  I sprayed a little of the sample on my wrist.  It has a sensual and striking smell to it that I think my husband will like.  It's like when you smell this fragrance on a man, the get-to-know action is quite possible. 

Calvin Klein makes sensational fragrance products and the Reveal scent defies masculinity but not overpowering.

Weekend Snapshots: New Vacuum Cleaner Hoover Windtunnel

Yay! Our new vacuum cleaner has arrived.  I bought a Hoover Windtunnel Bagless Vacuum Cleaner to replace our 10-year-old Bissell one.  It has served us good long years but it was time to upgrade.

I was very excited about this new vacuum cleaner.  Even my darling daughter kept asking me when will it arrive so she can help me vacuum the carpets.  Hahaha!  Sweet girl.  Anyway, I bought this Hoover Windtunnel at Walmart.com.  I was scouting for good deals and great reviews about vacuum cleaners and this one has 4.5 rating at Walmart online and featured as the Best Seller.  From $149 price, it rolled back to $99.  I used my birthday cash to buy it.

Waterproof Eyeliner #FrostyVoxBox

Well, I received very nice gifts last year.  The Frosty VoxBox from Influenster was one of them. Included in the box was a Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in black.  I don't wear makeup so often so sometimes it takes a long time for me to finish painting my face. Hahaha.

Since the Rimmel eyeliner is waterproof, it stays on your eyes the whole day.  An effective make up remover for waterproof make ups is needed to wipe the eyeliner off.

#CelestialTea Candy Cane Lane Green Tea Holiday Tea

I love tea.  I put honey as sweetener.

Happy New Year!  Yes it is the New Year.  We had a wonderful Christmas celebration with the folks and the rest of the family.  We attended the worship service on Christmas Eve, had a delicious meal, and enjoyed the moment of company and gift-giving.

Christmas time is the most cheerful time of the year.  It is the occasion we look forward to so we can spend more time with our families and friends.  Sharing the joy of the season together comes with great and delicious meals.  At mom and dad's, tea is the usual drink served at the table.  Cold, warm, or hot it doesn't matter.  We love tea.  It's supposed to be good for you.

The Best Eye Make Up Remover

It was a wonderful thing to receive something that you really really like and need.  Especially if you are receiving nice things from Influenster.  Free goodies in the mail? How cool is that?

One of the nice products I got from Influenster are these Rimmel Eye Make Up Remover and Rimmel Scandal Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner.  They came right in time because I needed a new eyeliner.  I seldom apply makeup but when I do, I wanted my cosmetics to be non-sticky and non-irritable on my skin.  Our eyes are delicate and sensitive so it is advisable to use something that will not irritate our eyes.

Because the Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeliner is waterproof, I needed an eye make up remover that will completely take the eye makeup away.  The Rimmel Eye Make Up Remover did the wonders.  I was very impressed with it.  It doesn't have an alcohol smell and it just soothes my eyes after I removed the makeup.  My whole face was feeling light again.

Tender Loving Care

I was feeling awful couple of days ago.  My head and nose were congested.  I was feeling tired especially at night.  Is baby wearing me out?  Part of it.  

One thing that helped me get better was Vicks vapor rub.  It always has been very effective on me.  Proven to help relieve nasal congestion and muscle pain, me and my family always has Vicks at home.  Now I feel better.  Thanks to Vicks vapor rub and honey's tender loving care, of course.
