It's 2025! Happy New Year!

Hello friends! Happy New Year 2025!  I am back.  It's been a long hiatus.  Yes. Life had been busy these couple of years. It was mostly because of school.  My darling daughter entered middle school and I had to supervise most of her school activities.  She's into two sports and our schedule was very hectic.

Anyway, I am coming back to blogging, vlogging, and product reviewing.  I missed these things.  Hopefully I will be able to balance my time this time.  Also, I realized that, blogging can be a therapy.  Yes.  I see it like that.  

Wish me luck, friends.  I will do my best to keep this blog updated from time to time.

Back From Hiatus

I have been on hiatus from my blog for about eight months.  I feel bad but I had to focus on the most important-my darling daughter.  Her schooling needs as well as our family's daily activities were my main focus in the past few months.  I was occupied almost everyday.  Now that the school is almost out, which is in four days, I hope my blogging routine will be in the books again this summer. I missed this hobby, you know.

Back From A Long Vacation

I'm back!  Yes, I was away for over two months. I was on a long vacation with my darling daughter. We went to the Philippines to visit my side of the family and have had a wonderful summer vacation. By the end of March, school is out and summer vacation starts over there.  So my nieces and nephews were with us in all our getaways.

So, I am back now and will start posting about our adventures and new experiences from the vacation.  Hopefully, I won't forget a thing. :D  See you around.  Have a wonderful day peeps.

Experience With Target's Ship To Store - Not Good

If you are shopping online for a product that you really really like, you cannot wait to receive the product right?  And because the store offers free shipping to store, that's a very big plus right?  Who doesn't like free shipping?

I order items online ahead of time because I know that sometimes you cannot trust the items to be delivered and/or ready for pick up five or 7 days after the items' have shipped.  But I think this one is quite unacceptable.  As you can see, I ordered two items from a store.  Both of them are swimwear and to be shipped to the same store I selected.  One swimwear arrived at the store in six days after the order was placed.

The second swimwear is still in transit as of today, yet the estimated delivery to store is 14 March 2016.  Today is the 19th.  How come?  I called the store to double check with them.  They told me the same thing, the item is still in transit.  To some these items are not quite important.  But I am going on a vacation with my loved ones and I ordered these pieces for them expecting that they will arrive within a week or so.  What's disappointing is, it's been two weeks and one of the swimwear is still pending.  I ordered both VERY ahead of time.

As a stay-at-home mom and full-time housewife, there comes a time that I really needed to unwind without leaving the house unattended.  I mean, I go out with friends sometimes or just me and my darling daughter go to town for a little recreation.  But there are moments that I don't want to go out but I want to have a me time at home.  What I do is just I go to the guestroom, play some mellow music. On the other hand, I also enjoy joining giveaways and sweepstakes.  In fact, I already won several products, items, and cash.  My favorite Instant Win Games site so far is JuliesFreebies.com.  It has lots of giveaway/sweepstakes listed on daily basis.  They are updated daily and so many games that you will be interested to enter.  The site also gives you a chance to claim free product samples from various brands.

The Best Eye Make Up Remover

It was a wonderful thing to receive something that you really really like and need.  Especially if you are receiving nice things from Influenster.  Free goodies in the mail? How cool is that?

Help! My Screen Is Sideways!

 "Help!  My Screen Is Sideways!"  These were the words I was muttering in the middle of the night in our living room.  

I was just only a photo away to finishing my last article when this very annoying thing happened last night.  You see, I was in the process of editing a photo.  When I tried rotating it, unexpectedly my dell computer screen also rotated sideways!  The touchpad was also functioning sideways.  I mean, how could that happened?  I had no idea what keys I pressed that lead to this sudden catastrophe.  I restarted my computer but when it opened, the screen was still sideways. 

Nervous, pissed, confused...I tried my best to find a solution online.   Thankfully, I found one immediately.  And according the thread in the forum, here's what you should do when your screen gets sideways:

Try pressing Ctrl + Alt + UP Arrow Key, or try Ctrl + Alt + and a different Arrow Key.
If that does not work: Right-click on empty Desktop > Graphics Options > Rotation. 

Whew!   If I wasn't able to find technical help online and didn't fix , I could have taken the computer to Walmart. 

I was very frustrated that I didn't even took a picture of the screen.  Darn!

Not Really Boring For Me

Sometimes boredom strikes to a stay-at-home wife and mom like me.  There are days that I have to stay home with my child and do chores.  But after that, I want to do something else that is worthwhile.  

When I got here in the US for the first time, it was really boring for me.  So I searched for friends online.  Gladly I met new friends and they suggested some money-making hobbies on the Internet.  Besides blogging, I Earn money by solving quizzes and trivia at www.Quiivia.com.  I find solving quizzes very challenging.  The site has a variety of quizzes and trivia that will make the mind think hard.

Thanks to my online friends who helped me how to make money online even though I am a full-time wife and mom.

A Joyful Fairy Visited My Home Today

Oh!  Thanks much to the Fairy Hobmother.  He came and visited my humble home and sprinkled some pixie dusts on here.  I am very happy because he granted my wish.  I have been a good girl you know.  As a stay-at-home mother and full time housewife, I do all the chores in the house.  And laundry is on the Top 5 in my priority list.  Working on the laundry using an energy efficient washing machine is worth doing.  And included in the Top 5 Washing Machines reviews, I am proud.

Looking Back 2011-Highlights

Looking back in the year 2011, I can say it has been a good year for me.  Why?

• Though I was in the early stage of the recovery period (postpartum) from a Cesarian Section delivery, I did the best I could to nurture and take good care of my newborn. And I am so proud that my recovery is a success, and my baby is growing healthier, smarter, and more active everyday.
• We had great vacation in Oklahoma.  And that was baby's first travel out-of-State.
• We celebrated the first anniversary of our move back to the house.
• I resumed making money blogging in 2011.  Because of my inactivity due to the pregnancy in 2010, I haven't gotten any tasks.  Thankful to the Lord that PTB sites gave me another chance.
• My family stays healthy and well.  And I met new friends too.

I still have a lot to share but I will when I remember.  Well, I am hoping 2012 will also be a wonderful year for me.  How about you?  What are your milestones and accomplishments in 2011?

MyBlogLog Is Gone

Yes.  It is gone.  Totally.  Yahoo!  has officially discontinued MyBlogLog service two days ago.  I was a member of it since I started my blogging career.  

I have no idea why Yahoo!  closed the service.  They did not mention anything in their correspondence.  Anyway, I hope they will come up with a new online social networking/community soon.  One that will last for a long time.

Blogging allows you to meet new friends. I am very proud that I met a friend who is very sincere and kind. Though we are miles away, she keeps in touch. And you know what? She even sent me and my daughter lovely gifts from Brazil! My friend SissyM is so sweet.

MyBlogLog Closing?

Yahoo just sent an email to all MyBlogLog subscribers (including me) and customers saying that they are officially discontinuing the Yahoo! MyBlogLog service effective May 24, 2011. The email did not mention anything about the reason why Yahoo! MyBlogLog is to be discontinued.

I joined MyBlogLog since I started blogging and, so far, it has helped my blogs recognized. Oh well, I have to look for another blog community again.
