He Does The Cooking

It's our wedding anniversary today.  My honey and I are happily and harmoniously married for five years.  I am very thankful that he has been very understanding.  Since the birth of our darling daughter, my attention has been focused more on her.  That leads to lack of time with cooking, doing the house chores, and anything else.  But with my honey's help and understanding, we are able to cooperate.  He does the cooking oftentimes.  That's why I love him more and more each day.

On The Spot: Love My Mug

Valentine's Day and my honey's treat for me is a lovely tall hearts mug and a Whitman's Chocolate Sampler in a heart box.  They were waiting on the table this morning.  I gave him lots of kisses, Hershey's Kisses. :)

Another Precious Moment

Oh April is here! Our wedding anniversary is two weeks away. We better book a hotel room soon. If not, we might end up in last minute preparation. Out-of-State travel again and, this time, we are traveling with baby. It is not a big celebration, but it is going to be one of the precious moments in my life.

Three years of marriage but still in the adjustment period. Days gone so fast. No complains. I am happy.

Tall And Sweet

I woke up late today. We did not sleep much last night because my baby woke up in the middle of the night wanting to eat. I am the one who always wakes up whenever my daughter squirms.

Like the previous Valentine's Day, my honey surprised me with chocolates. This time instead of flowers, he gave me this cute tall mug. Me and my baby has Valentine's cards too. As always, he makes my heart melt with his love notes.

One of the things I really love the most is when somebody gives me flowers, especially when it comes from a very loving person. My honey never forgets to show me his love and affection even in little simple ways. And he knows I love roses.

A Good Company

I am very thankful to have friends who care. They are like family to me. I treasure every moment spent in our gathering. We talk and have a good laugh. That's what I like because laughter releases stress and lightens the burden. I enjoy the time with a good company.

Though it's a very busy weekend, I did not forget to greet my honey today. It is his birthday and honestly I don't have time to prepare because of this moving thing. He is on his way to Fort Worth at this moment to pick up the rest of the furniture. And no kidding, he will be very tired when he gets home later.

When You Realize The Importance Of Love...And More

My honey just came back from a business travel in New Jersey. For five days, I was home alone when he was away. This was the first time we're apart since I arrived here. But for a good reason, he had to take the trip.

Bob went over to his friend Joe's house and was amazed at how well Joe treated his wife. He often told her how attractive she was, complimented her on her cooking and showered her with hugs and kisses.

"Gee," Bob remarked later, "you really make a big fuss over your wife".

"I started to appreciate her more about six months ago," Joe said. "It has revived our marriage and we couldn't be happier."

A Birthday Gift From His Favorite Gift Wrapper

A gift to my honey's birthday. Wrapped in a multicolored gift wrapping paper is a Roundtree and York knit shirt. He loves shirts with collars but he is picky when it comes to the fabric. This one is made from organic cotton. Though he does not like the sound of it, he likes the shirt :)

I chose to wrap the gift in a multicolored paper because it looks pretty and cute. I wanted him to smile when gets his present. And he did. He loves it, of course. I am his favorite gift wrapper :)

Out-Of-Town Trips Are Always Great

A visit to my my parents-in-law has always been great ever since I came and meet them. My husband has a wonderful and beautiful family. They treat me nice and I love them.

We went to Tyler again this weekend. We used the new car and I drove all the way over there in the evening after I get off from work. It was a smooth and comfortable drive. My honey called his dad to tell him we will be arriving at about 1:00 A.M. When we arrived, dad and prissy (their dog) were waiting for us at the door.

As usual, mom prepared a delicious breakfast while dad made the good coffee. Then mom and I went to the mall because I had to buy a present for S, my honey's sister. She had her birthday last month but we did not come for the celebration because I had to work the weekend of her special day. Mom told me she likes fragrances, so I bought her a new scent from Elizabeth Arden called "Pretty". Mom said S and family is coming over for supper. I gave her the gift and she liked it!

We enjoyed the spaghetti, garlic bread, and salad that mom prepared. We watched the fishing video after supper because S have not seen it yet. She likes fishing so much. Sure time passes by when you are having fun. It was almost the sleeping time for kids so S and family went home. Mom, dad, my honey and I hung out in the living room for a while. Then when we got really sleepy, lights turned off and we went to bed.

Love can be expressed in many ways. Valentine's Day has been full of surprises for me. My honey prepared a simple dinner at home. Then he gave me these pretty, lovely pink roses with matching chocolate hearts and big HUGS and KISSES. Here is my honey and I on Valentine's Day. Instead of going out to dinner, we had our supper at home because we it was very crowded in the restaurants. He baked chicken and made some dirty rice which I like. And to make the dinner more romantic, he prepared a glass of red wine.
