The Gifts Are Ready To Ship

I am so late in sending the Christmas presents to my family this year.  Actually, I have not packed the box yet.  I just finished sorting out the clothing, body essentials, accessories, and chocolates.  I also just finished wrapping gifts for everybody.  Next is the packing of all of these in the box.  But there are still small bits lacking that I have to buy soon.  The package could have gone two months ago but I got very busy organizing a special event-my sister's 18th birthday.

These gifts are ready to send.
And now, it's shipping will be delayed again because I will be busy preparing for my daughter's birthday party.  Sure my family understands my situation.  It's just that, there are outfits for my niece and nephews here that will not be worn on Christmas.  I am a little frustrated.

The Gifts Are Ready For Shipping

Gee, my apartment is a mess. There are boxes in the corner and clutters everywhere. We finished packing some of the things we do not use here in the apartment. They are ready to be transferred to the storage.

In addition to that, we are also fixing to send my family the gifts for Christmas. And we already filled the first Balikbayan box. You might be wondering, "Are they gonna send two boxes?" The answer is yes. I accumulated the gifts and stuff for a year and I think that's enough to fill two Balikbayan boxes.

My niece and nephews know about it already. Boy, they are so excited!

Proud Of Ourselves

Things accomplished in our three-day weekend:

1. Huge pile of laundry - Glad to finish them Friday.

2. Packed and shipped the two Balikbayan boxes (to the Philippines, yeah baby!) - From months of gathering and preparation, the two packages were finally shipped. The approximate delivery time to the Philippines is 45 days so my family will be receiving them mid-April.

3. Grocery shopping for the week - As usual, this is a weekly routine :)

4. Cleaned the kitchen - Actually, I did some scrubbing and wiping here. Then I started preparing supper after.

You know what? The big accomplishment for the week was the shipping of the two Balikbayan boxes. My honey and I have been planning their shipment since Christmas last year. We kept on forgetting because of the hectic schedules during the holidays. Anyway, the packages were shipped. Now my family, especially my niece and nephews, will be very anxious to receiving their presents.

My honey and I did not go somewhere we thought of going this weekend. We did a lot of important things instead. We are proud of ourselves :)
