Tool Rentals At Home Depot

We are so ready to plant veggies in the garden.  But the weather is not cooperating yet.  Thunderstorm and last freeze just came and the ground was wet for a couple of days.  We might get vegetable plants next weekend.  In the meantime hubby tilled the garden soil.  He rented a soil tiller from Home Depot's equipment rental on his way home from work.  You can rent gardening or farming equipment, truck, and tools at Home Depot.

Now that the soil is tilled, there's way we can stop planting vegetables in the garden now.  I already got the seeds ready.

The Garden Soil Needs Tilling

Well, my husband was supposed to till the garden Friday but a thunderstorm came Thursday morning with heavy rains and strong winds.   And so the ground was wet.  The soil here is a type of clay so it gets really muddy when wet.  Hopefully the weather will be pleasant the whole week so the garden will be ready for tilling this weekend.  We are anxious planting vegetables and flowers again this year.

He Does The Cooking

It's our wedding anniversary today.  My honey and I are happily and harmoniously married for five years.  I am very thankful that he has been very understanding.  Since the birth of our darling daughter, my attention has been focused more on her.  That leads to lack of time with cooking, doing the house chores, and anything else.  But with my honey's help and understanding, we are able to cooperate.  He does the cooking oftentimes.  That's why I love him more and more each day.

My Friend's New House

Our family visited friends in Fort Worth today.  After an enjoyable ride on the train at Trinity Park and fun at the Zoo, we head on for a get-together dinner at my girl friend's house.  She and her husband bought a new house in town and we saw it for the first time.  I was very happy to see my friends again.

It's a two-storey house with five bedrooms.  Yes it is huge and beautiful!  Her father-in-law already moved here in Texas and is living with them now.  Because of his age, the couple had a stairlift installed on the stairs.  It's a very helpful equipment for elderly especially for those with disabilities.

It was really nice to see my darling daughter loves being with the girls.  They missed her.  :)  They went up and down the stairs.  She even rode the stairlift and wanted to go some more.  Hahaha!

New Shower Curtain

Our guest bathroom has a new shower curtain.  Since we moved back to our house two years ago, the shower curtain hasn't been changed until today.  :)

I found one that matches the color of the bath rugs.  The new shower curtain has Sakura flowers on it that kinda have shades of red.  I am very pleased about it.  It is hard to find curtains that will match the theme of your bathroom.  I replaced the shower curtain liner too.
