What Princess Kate And I Have In Common?

Although I did not make it to attending the Royal Wedding in London because of a personal commitment, I enjoyed watching it on television in the comfort of my home.  Why not?  It is a part of the world's history.  This is one of the big advantages of technology.  Witnessing one of the most important event of the century thru satellite.  

The wedding was solemnly held at Westminster Abbey in London.  Huge crowd witnessed the ceremony.  I admire how organized and well-controlled the crowd was.  Prince William looked very handsome in his attire.  The bride, Kate Middleton, looked very lovely in her wonderfully made wedding gown. 

Oh, you know what?  Princess Kate and I have two things in common.  She was wearing a tiara on her wedding day...I was too.  And, we are both Spring brides.

Vacation And Recreation In London

We received an early Christmas greetings from my brother-in-law and his family. It is a personalized family picture with words of greetings printed on it. The picture was from their vacation in London two months ago.

When we came over to their house in Prosper (one of the cities in Northern Texas) the weekend of my honey's birthday, his wife showed us all the pictures they have taken from their trip. I was so amazed looking at the palace, London Tower and Museum. They also have the pictures of King Henry VIII's armor. During their vacation, they went to see different recreations in London. There were shops, picture taking with the palace guards, and horse racing. London is also home to great recreational places. And horse racing at Kempton Park is one of them. I wonder if my brother-in-law and his family spend a few hours watching the race. I would be great to see horses running as fast as they can in the field. I bet it was fun to watch the horse racing in London.

Olympic Blues

Yes, we are having Olympic blues right now. Watching the breathtaking games are exciting and fun. My husband and I misses watching the competing athletes and hearing the cheering crowd. Sigh. We'll have to wait four years again. Looking forward to Olympics in London, I bet it will be awesome as usual.
