Weekend Snapshots: Post-Valentine's Day Lunch And Kids Play Time

Oh so lovely!
Beautiful table setting for the occasion.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Me and my beautiful friend having post-Valentine's Day lunch at her house.
It's kids' play time at my friend's house last Saturday.  My darling daughter was so happy to see my friend's daughters.  My friend prepared a delicious meal for lunch, and her Valentine's Day decorations were still up so it was like we're eating lunch at a restaurant because the table setting was so pretty!  And the red wine complimented the very tasty meal.

Weekend Snapshot: Turning One

It is a hectic day today for I am busy preparing for my daughter's 1st birthday party to be held tomorrow at our house.  In fact, I ask my cousin and a friend to help me putting up the decorations and the cooking of tomorrow's food.  So amazing how time flies so quickly, and my daughter is turning one.  Before I know it, she will be going to school.

Personalized Photos and Greeting Cards As Decors

I do not know what you might think but I plan to keep our Christmas tree up until the first week of January. This is what my family used to do back home.

This is our first Christmas tree here. I was so excited when my honey bought it for us. It flatters me when visitors say our tree is pretty and looks professional. But it will look more beautiful in our house (Oh my God, I miss our house!). Though I have decorated our tree with Christmas ornaments, I have other unique decor in it. You see I put all the greeting cards we received during and after the Christmas week. Greetings from family and friends with personalized photos were pretty. So all of them are in our Christmas tree. What can you say?

Decors For The Holidays

Like other wives out there, I too, is presently busy in decorating the house for the holidays. Actually we already bought a 6-foot Christmas tree on Monday night. We picked the one which has the various color of lights that come along with it. My honey and I had it decorated as soon as we arrive from the mall. Some of the decors were bought from the garage sale few months ago. The others are my honey's from last year. I am happy with the decorating outcome so far. It is just the way I wanted. What we will do next is to finish shopping gifts for the loved ones. Then we will figure out what gifts to bring for the party which will be held at my in-laws' house in Tyler on Christmas Eve.
