A Very Lovely Surprise From My Cousin

I was very surprised one day my cousin came over to give me this lovely orchid plant.  From our previous get-together we talked about getting an orchid.  We love how beautiful their flowers are and caring for them is easy.

It was a nice surprise for me.  I put the orchid on the entry way table by the front door.  And it is looking very pretty.  I truly appreciate my cousin for this special gift.

Smells like Christmas In Our House Right Now

From my shopping the other day, I bought two packs of air fresheners.  I saw on the CVS ad that the Airwick air freshener refills were on sale.  And with my extra 25% Off I received thru email, I got them almost free because the store gave me back some Extra Bucks - equivalent to or like a store credit.

The scent of the Airwick air  freshener is Apple Cinnamon, which reminds me of the Holiday season.  When my husband came home from work this evening, he smelled it and said "Sure smells good in here."  :)

Got A Little Help

My little climber.

Look at my little climber.  She was very eager to help me prepare her milk.  She wanted to get a mug so climbed up on the kitchen counter using her step stool.  I thought she wouldn't do that because I was sure I put the step stool away.  When I heard the clanking of the cups and mugs, I quickly check the kitchen.  And here's what I captured.  Caught in the act while grabbing a mug from the kitchen cabinet.  

Everything went fine.  I didn't scare her.  I just spoke with her in a sweet and calm voice so she won't get scared and fall.
