A friend sent me a holiday gift and I just got it in the mail from Thailand.  We have been friends online for years and she is so sweet to me.  I did not expect it but I surely appreciate her thoughtfulness.  Now I have an addition to my scarf collection.

Even I was a child, watching movies and children shows on television are my past time when there is no school. My siblings and I tune in to animated or cartoon series program and musical shows on weekends back then. We loved watching them so much that we could not hear what our mother was saying. We even had a collection of VHS cartoon shows. My brother's favorite that time was the Chipmunks Adventure. He loved watching it over and over again.

When I saw Alvin and the Chipmunks movie recently, that reminded me of my siblings and I during childhood days. The cute little voices of the chipmunks sounds funny to me, that added fun to the movies.

Now that we are grown ups and have families of our own, we still have the child in us. We enjoy watching home movies. Thanks to DVDs and their players that we do not have to deal with VHS anymore. My niece and nephews like watching children movies too. I am sure that Alvin and the Chipmunks movie is going to be a big hit to them, especially that newly released sequel, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel, is included in this Double DVD Pack. This is also a good family movie collection because children always like watching family friendly films like Alvin and the Chipmunks. So let us buy it now now! Interested? I am. Oh hey! Godiva Teddy Bear 2009 Valentine's Edition

I thought I would not be able to get this pretty teddy bear 2009 Valentine's Edition from Godiva. This is the only one left at the customer service area of the store Friday night. Everything else were gone since the department store I am working in is having up to 70% discount sale.

When I worked closing Friday, I have not decided to buy the teddy bear until the last minute of going home. I told my associate to save the stuffed toy for me for I will pay for it the next day by phone. I was on a day off Sunday. We went to Dallas and Oklahoma so I did not get the chance to go to the store.
When I called my associate she said that the teddy bear was gone. But she told me she will ask our home department manager if there is another one left in the store. I was so upset. My honey said maybe it is not meant for me. So I just ordered and bought some scented candles instead. When I was done paying for the candles by phone, my associate told me that our home department manager found the last one Godiva teddy bear and she did not make me pay for it. She gave it to me as gratis. Yey! I was so happy! Now I have a new teddy bear.
