Love Donuts

You deserve a donut.  :)

My darling daughter and I went to an Egg Hunt at the park yesterday with my cousin and her daughter.  On our way home, I was feeling a little hungry.  My little was eating her snacks and there was still some in our lunch bag but I didn't care for a sandwich.  I thought of donuts.  

I remember when my dear husband and I used to buy groceries at Albertsons.  I always buy donuts there.  So I called him and asked if he can stop by at Albertsons and grab a couple donuts while waiting for the prescriptions' refill.  

When he got home last night, he brought home four donuts - two for the little one and two for me.  Ah, I love donuts.  And yes, I deserve one.  :)  And so are you.

What Makes Your Heart Happy?

What makes my heart happy?

Simple things like:

The sound of birds chirping on a bright sunny day...the laughter of children playing outside...and the noise of construction vehicles running on the road with honks and hauls. 'Weird for the third one ain't I?

I just realize, when I was walking down to the back of the apartment complex that, my heart is happy hearing and seeing those huge trucks working on hauling dirt from the hill. Maybe, because, I am not used to the quiet surroundings. I like it when there is movement and sound.

Anyway, why are these trucks running here and there? According to my reliable source, a toll road is currently in progress...right by the apartment complex where we live! I spent a couple of minutes watching the work men and their trucks. Seriously, I enjoyed it though dusts are all over the place. It is the (frustrated) engineering work that interests me to watch them.

Feeling The Blues

It is hard to leave but we have to. We are leaving Leyte and will head to Cebu tomorrow. We will fly back to Texas on the 31st. The three weeks vacation in the Philippines is truly a happiness for us. Nothing compares to the good times spent with the family. We will miss everyone...surely. Not even on the plane yet, we are feeling the blues now. I know that everyone had a great time...they are happy to see us too.

As soon as we get back to work in the USA and get our pay checks, we will start saving again for the next trip :) We are looking forward to another vacation...hopefully a month long vacation.

I Feel So Inspired

I feel so inspired. Everything around me brings joy and happiness. I am blessed and SO loved. My heart is full of cheer for His love and care is with us. I have a wonderful job and I am enjoying it. My relationship with my husband and family is in good harmony. I am so grateful.
