If Ever You're In My Arms Again by Peabo Bryson - My Favorite Song

I went to my friend's birthday party last night.  It was an hour and a half drive but it was fine.  The traffic wasn't bad.  It was her 30th birthday.  We had a great time chatting and especially singing karaoke with their Xtreme Magic Sing.  Everybody was lively and cheerful.  On parties like this, there is always a karaoke time.

As I was searching for songs I want to sing, this song from Peabo Bryson brings memories to me.  Well, happy ones because there was a time at a friends' get-together, me and my friends sang this song all together-with full of happiness and cheer.  I won't forget that.  Now I am missing them all.  "If Ever You're In My Arms Again" is one of my all-time favorite song.

Halloween Costume Party - Pirates

We attended a Halloween Costume Party on November 1st and this year it was held at a friend's house in Royse City, Texas.  Huge gathering like this one has to be held in a bigger house because of the big crowd.

The Dainty Pirates
My darling daughter and I went to the party with rotisserie chicken.  We were in our pirate costumes.  I was able to come up with a costume theme this year.  I also volunteered to administer the games for kids. Oh the children had so much fun.  There's so many delicious food brought by the guests.  Of course, lots of picture-taking here and there.
I love those pancit.
cob web and spider
My friend decorated her party room very well.  Cob webs, spiders, pumpkins, and witches were all over the room.  It was a spooky party room.  After the kids' games, we got the dancing started.  It was a great party!

An Idea To A Successful Dinner Party

We have been invited again to a gathering of Filipino-American (Fil-Am) couples in Arlington Saturday. But we were not able to come because the trip to Tyler was already scheduled ahead of time. It was the second invitation sent to us.

We attended the first gathering in Grand Prairie. It was a huge Fil-Am get-together dinner celebrating the holidays. Boy, the food was good. The organizers really did a great job planning for the dinner party menu that night. All the visitors enjoyed the evening with the admiration for the holiday theme ideas from Celebrations.com, which helped make the party become a success. It was one of the most memorable party I have attended. Besides the delicious foods, I met new Fil-Am couple friends that evening.

Filipino-American Couples' Christmas Party

Somebody said it was going to be below 20 degrees last night. And we went out for a Fil-Am gathering last night in Grand Prairie. It was very very cold. Pinay Writer invited me to attend the party. I decided to go with my honey since I did not make it to the first one last week. I invited Norie too. We met new Filipina friends together with their husbands and kids. Everybody had a great time talking, laughing, joking, eating. Others were yelling in cheer while watching the Dallas Cowboys game on television. Boy, it was fun! Flashing cameras were in every corner of the house. Many thanks to Ate Beng for a wonderful hospitality at the party. And you know what, it was my great pleasure to meet Pinay Writer, In Demand Opinions and wife MJ's Hurrah, and everybody at the party. We really enjoyed the night.

For the Filipina who served the "pineapple", cheers girl! Make some again. I am not allergic to that. Hahaha!!!Bookmark and Share Review My Post
