Nursery Room Preparation

After the big move, we are finally settled in the house. We are very happy back. A good timing also for the baby's coming.

As soon as we moved back to the house in October, my honey and I have planned the nursery room. We were having a baby girl so I wanted everything to be feminine. The baby's room was painted in November. With the help of family, I started buying nursery decor and baby stuff. The nursery room is not complete without furniture. My brother-in-law and his wife are so nice that they offered us their son's baby bed set.

There are many modern furniture to look at. But we decided to get a set of furniture that my honey and I like best for our baby's room. It turned out great!

On the other hand, I got something that I really like. I will tell you more about it on my review in the next post.

Discount On Baby Registry Items

Thank God we're done decorating the nursery room. My honey painted it and he did a great job. We already arranged the furniture in the places we wanted them to be, and the wall decorations and accessories as well. My baby's clothes (except those bigger sizes) are washed too. We bought a couple boxes of diapers and stacked them in the drawer.

Now I am checking my registry list and figuring out things I still need. Well, there are few more. I wonder if the store will give me discount for the items left in my registry.

Painting The Nursery Room

We have to decide now and we need to do it fast. My due date is getting close. The nursery room needs to be painted.

My honey and I went to Home Depot today to get the paint that I chose from the Glidden booklet. I decided to pick the shade of green called Minty Shake. My nursery room decor is mostly pink and the baby bedding set has pink and green prints.

When everything we need was picked out from the store, we headed home. My honey started painting while I was having my power nap (smiles). When I woke up, he's in the process of coating the wall. I bet the nursery room will look very pretty.
