Pineapple Juice and Skittles

Pineapple juice and Skittles
I enjoy couponing.  I save money on the products I need.  Sometimes I shop and get good deals on items like apparel, shoes, home goods, and accessories.  Most of these items are gifts for my family and friends in the Philippines.

What's amazing is that, I get/receive coupons and I use them to pay for food or drinks that I like.

Back From Hiatus

Purple Lady Banks Rose

I have been on hiatus from my blog for about eight months.  I feel bad but I had to focus on the most important-my darling daughter.  Her schooling needs as well as our family's daily activities were my main focus in the past few months.  I was occupied almost everyday.  Now that the school is almost out, which is in four days, I hope my blogging routine will be in the books again this summer. I missed this hobby, you know.

Planting at Anytime of Year

You can plant whatever you'd like at anytime of year with hydroponics! Get the knowledge and supplies first, then get going. There are lots of different kinds of grow lights within the hydroponics industry. The best grow tents for your hydroponics set up will most likely be the special grow lights you can get from www.thelashop.com

Hydroponics is basically growing plants without soil, but still using water and nutrients or whatever ends up being chosen. There are tons of helpful nutrients that you can add to your plants that will be able to help you grow more efficiently and safely. Some of the nutrients that are available include tons of different hybrid mixes and whatnot that were formulated to help with the growth and health of your plants. Some mixes are only a dollar each, which means it’s very easy to keep your plants growing and happy! Some would recommend the “Organic Feeder” which would mix nicely with most plants, no matter what you are growing. LA shop Hydroponics has been BBB accredited since 2011 and is thrilled to keep serving its thriving customer base. Specializing in garden and plant life, LA shop Hydroponics will surely help you create a garden that is easy to maintain and serves you well. Hydroponics isn’t hard at all and anyone who is curious should read a little bit more on it and see just how easy it is! After you have all the supplies set up, it’s really only a matter of maintaining. There is a lot to learn about hydroponics, but just keep in mind that after the initial week or so, it is smooths sailing from there.

Not Really Boring For Me

Sometimes boredom strikes to a stay-at-home wife and mom like me.  There are days that I have to stay home with my child and do chores.  But after that, I want to do something else that is worthwhile.

When I got here in the US for the first time, it was really boring for me.  So I searched for friends online.  Gladly I met new friends and they suggested some money-making hobbies on the Internet.  Besides blogging, I Earn money by solving quizzes and trivia at www.Quiivia.com.  I find solving quizzes very challenging.  The site has a variety of quizzes and trivia that will make the mind think hard.

Thanks to my online friends who helped me how to make money online even though I am a full-time wife and mom.

Enjoying The Fruit Of My Labor

Wee!  In two days I will be receiving payments for my online article writing tasks.  Yay!  Besides being a stress-relieving hobby, blogging is so much fun especially if you are earning.  I am blessed with opportunities.  Though time management is kind of critical right now, DAs trust my ability and diligence that I can deliver quality articles.  In addition, I also do this part time job to help my students back home.

I was in hiatus for about two years because of personal reasons (pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum period).  Now, it's nice to be back-in blogging!  And I am enjoying the fruit of my labor.

A Weekend At The Library

This guest post from Walter Horn

The library is one of the best places on earth. There's no place that will allow you to read the newspapers from different states and magazines that cover such a broad field of topics. It's a super resource center that puts a world of knowledge right at your fingertips.

There's no way to express my full admiration for the people that originally invented this concept. It's the best place on earth for indulging in the world of the written word. I have always loved books, and I love to write. The library gives me an opportunity to read and a quiet space to write. It's the best of both worlds.

I go on Saturdays because I know that there are few people that will wake up and think of going to the library on the weekend. It's always busy during the weekdays. The weekend is different. People are at home watching games or out shopping on Saturday. No one is checking out library books but me. I usually leave home and set my home security alarm. I get some brunch from the local eatery and go directly to the library.

It feels just like home when I'm there, and I always want to hang around for longer than I attended to. I check all the different books and try to decide what I will check out.

Weekend Snapshot: Stress Reliever Hobby

I got home from work tired. My feet hurt and I feel kinda sad. So I thought of something to do to relieve the stress and sad feeling. I thought of singing videoke-my favorite stress relieving hobby. I haven't sang for a while. The videoke CDs I bought from our vacation in the Philippines are waiting to be played. 'Didn't do much of the high tones because I was gasping for air whenever I tried reaching high notes. But I usually do.

See my baby bump? I am 14 weeks today :)

Shakespeare Fishing Pole

We went fishing this afternoon with my cousin E and her husband in Farmersville. They invited us to come over to their place few days ago for fishing. They have a small pond a distance from their house with catfish in it. My honey bought me a junior size fishing pole from the Academy. It is a Shakespeare Ugly Stik brand and the size is suited for a small woman like me since my body frame is like a 10 or 12-year-old girl's :) Actually it is the advisable size for kids in that age range. Honestly, I am not confident enough to use a very long fishing pole with big rod with it.
