What's Your Adventure Plan This Summer?

Summer is here!  I know most of us don't like the super duper hot days.  But, yeah, we love the outdoor activities we can do this season.  The kids, especially, were looking forward to explore and have a fun adventure this summer season.  Camping and swimming are two of the most enjoyable activity for the family.  In fact, lots of people sign up for camping adventure ahead of time so they can prepare all the necessary things to take.  On the other hand, swimming is the most common excursion for everyone.  Kids enjoy this so much!

Visiting with the family is also the ideal thing to do in the summer.  If your close family live out-of-State, this is also a good time for family reunions.  Some of us want to stay in a hotel so exploring places will be convenient.  What I like about hotels is that, they have nice luxury rooms.  Feels like I want to move in already.  :)  The furniture, equipment, and vanities.  I wonder if they buy those stuff from a Hotel Supply Online.  

When I was out swimming my my girl friends two weeks ago, we were talking about road traveling out-of-State for an adventure.  Some of us haven't been to another State before.  One of my friends suggested going to Atlanta.  She and her husband went to a family reunion a month ago and she said, they found a very reasonably priced luxury hotel with great amenities.  She showed us some pictures taken from her cell phone.  The rooms are beautiful and Hotel Bar Supplies are neat.  When I searched for that hotel online that night, I saw lots of good reviews.  Well, must be a well-managed hotel.  That's great, though.  Guest love staying in a place like that.  It takes a lot of hard work to maintain a customer-oriented hospitality establishments like hotels and resorts.  And looking for Atlanta Hotel Supply can be challenging.

Well, this is our temporary plan so far.  Hopefully, we can come up with a good decision about road trips this summer.  It'll be fun!

Sister's Debut

"Happy 18th Birthday to my baby sister today!  You have grown into a young lady now.  We are wishing you the best of everything.  God bless you."

My baby sister turns eighteen years of age today.  Whoa!  Seems like yesterday and, oh how time flies so fast.  She is the tallest among the four of us, man.  Well that is what afternoon naps can do, I believe.

Her birthday celebration will be next weekend because this week is their examination week in school.  We planned for the dinner party for two weeks now.  The party is going to be held at a resort hotel in Ormoc City.  I hope everything will turn out fine.  She is very excited and anxious about this.  The function room and hotel accommodations are finalized already.  She and the family invited most of the guests personally.  The souvenirs are on their way.  We still need to work on some few things this week.  After that, we are all set for the dinner party.

Family's First Summer Getaway

It was a family getaway with my MIL.  We went to Oklahoma.  And it was my daughter's first summer outing too.  We went swimming.  She enjoyed swimming in the pool.  

There was a young boy playing with her in the pool.  He kept on moving closer to my little girl.  Of course, we did not like what the boy was doing.  When the young boy went away, my honey and I splashed in the water and played with our daughter.  There's a waterfall in the middle of the kiddie pool and she liked going there.

When the young boy came back and played with my baby girl, she wanted to kiss him now.  Hahaha!  I think that was funny because the young boy did not want to.  Cute.

The hotel resort is very accommodating.  The room rates are reasonable for a two-day weekend stay.  We were glad to have our booking confirmed because there were few rooms left in the last weekend of July.  Whew!  The resort is only an about an hour drive from where we live.  While I was walking at the hotel lobby, guests are coming in and the counter clerks are very busy checking them in.  At the lobby, there is a sculpted buffalo.  The water falls behind it dances with the light music playing in the background.

As usual, we "donated" something to the Indians during our stay. :)

Romance Package For Summer

If everything goes as planned, our summer vacation will be out-of-state. Yup. We are thinking about this before our vacation back home. Because the priority was the trip back to my home country in the fall, the travel budget becomes limited.

Hilton Branson Convention Center, for example, has a Romance Package that a couple might want to avail. Honeymoon getaway or celebrating the anniversary at this hotel is a wonderful choice. Wait a minute, my wedding anniversary is getting closer. Isn't this a nice idea? Another luxury hotel in Branson is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. There are many recreational places and attractions in Branson that are close to this hotel. If your partner or members of the family loves to play golf, no need to look for a golf course far away. In addition to this, shops and live entertainment are also available around the area.

So if everything goes as planned, we might travel to Branson, Missouri. And here's what I have in mind:

1. spend a day to explore the hotel
2. visit the museums
3. avail a romance package
4. buy souvenirs at boutiques and shops

Nice Hot Shower And A Good Night Sleep

Happy V! So where is the date gonna be?

My husband and I had an advance Valentines date Friday night. We stayed in a hotel close by because our apartment still had no power until this morning. An overnight stay at Extended Hotels conveniently saved our day.

Anyway, it was a pretty convenient hotel to stay in because it has a small built-in stove top and a kitchen sink. The bathroom is nice too. The hotel provides Wi-Fi access but they are charging it per stay. It was just an overnight hotel accommodation but we had a really nice hot shower and a good night sleep.

Speaking of Valentine's date today, I am thinking of going to Downtown Fort Worth after I get off from work tonight. I hope my honey likes the idea.

Two Lovely Resorts In Leyte

We are back! 'Arrived DFW Airport at 9:50 yesterday morning. Now, I am feeling the blues because I am missing my family already. My husband and I know it will be fine because we really had a great time with them. We spent the whole time in two resorts in Leyte...Baybayon ni Agalon in Albuera and Sabin Resort Hotel in Ormoc City.

Since my honey's first visit to Leyte, Sabin Resort Hotel has been his favorite place to stay in Ormoc. Besides being close to my hometown (Kananga), the resort is also 5-8 minutes away from the city proper of Ormoc. We like going to town riding a tricycle. My honey calls it a trike :)

Baybayon ni Agalon is 10-15 minutes away South of Ormoc City. We heard about its beautiful location (by the shore). The resort has a beautiful landscape, quiet, and green surroundings. What makes this resort remarkable because it has a very appealing pool that children would really enjoy swimming in its cool waters (with slides and all that). Plus, Baybayon ni Agalon has two Ostriches by the entrance.

Luxury Entertainment In Las Vegas

When I hear of the city Las Vegas, what comes right into my mind is entertainment. The city is popular with its gigantic, luxurious hotels and casinos. Plus, the entertainment shows that come in variety are very amusing. I heard about famous singers and entertainers perform in Las Vegas Hotels throughout the city. In fact, my favorite singer is having a constant show in one of the Las Vegas hotels. Do you have an idea who is she?

As the summer vacation time approaches, many of us now are planning of a memorable and enjoyable getaway. But do not let the this time pass you by because great deals on Las Vegas hotel accommodations are now available for the taking. For as low as $25 weekdays, Riviera Hotel and Casino is the great place to stay. Its location is not far where nightlife activities are. They also have shopping center on-site. Great! I would even spend a whole day shopping around.

I remember my friend N had a very awesome wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. I watched the video at her house when I went there for a visit. It was simulated over the Internet so her family and friends back home (Philippines) have had witnessed her tying the knot. N was mesmerized in that special moment of her life. Las Vegas is a memorable place for her. She is telling me that they want to have a vacation in Las Vegas. One day she asked me if we, (my honey and I), want to come with them. I said, "Sure. But I need to save more for it first." Fun and relaxation are the reason why people visit Las Vegas. If opportunity comes my way, I would like to stay in Riviera Hotel and Casino. My honey and I will surely like playing in the Penny Town of the casino :)

At The Resort Hotel

It was a very pleasant day. The drive to Oklahoma was smooth and safe though the wind was blowing like there is no tomorrow. We checked in at the hotel at three o'clock in the afternoon. We made it on time. The resort hotels' room is simple yet cozy. Besides cable TV, refrigerator, microwave oven, and flat iron, the room has a closet where we can organize our clothes. Hangers are also available for our jeans and shirts. I brought a couple of under shirts for my honey just in case he needs one. I would say I did a good job in packing our stuff last night.

The resort has a very pretty pool and spa. To make sure we have the proper clothing, I brought his trunks and my bathing suit. I hope the wind will not be harsh tomorrow.

Out Of State Vacation

Early today we will head to our vacation destination out of State, in Oklahoma. Yes. We are excited now. I hope the weather will be fine and warm so that there is a chance for me to go swimming. The hotel we are staying has built a new resort so it would be fun.

Actually our wedding anniversary is on April 12. Since it is Easter Sunday, we agreed to move the vacation date ahead. First year of marriage...time flies like an arrow huh?
