High Speed Internet Service

When we moved back to the house, I thought we will go back to the dial-up Internet service. My honey said he will look for a better one. Gladly, he found Tier One. They offer a high speed Internet service (and wireless too!). My ears were flapping in total happiness when my honey told me about it. I couldn't see myself in front of the computer working on my online tasks using dial-up. Huh! I am used to multi-tasking and high speed connection.

As of the moment, I am very happy with my Internet provider. Thanks to my honey.

Prefers Satellite Than Cable

It was a quick setup. Two of the important installations were finished during the move on the weekend. My honey contacted the service providers prior to our move so we can have a satellite television and internet connection in the house today.

Since my honey already had direct tv connection in the house before, he added local Filipino channels to the package. He knows I enjoy watching Filipino shows. He prefers direct tv satellite than our previous cable connection at the apartment because direct tv has more movie channels.

Anyway, planning ahead of time really helps accomplish the goals even if you are occupied with other things. Now we enjoy quality time watching television and surfing the Internet as well.

Tornado Warning Last Night

It was stormy last night. Thunder and lightning was scary. Winds blew 80 miles per hour. The tornado warning siren was turned on all over town. I was worried we might get hail. Thank God we did not get any. I called my neighbor N, cousin E, and my friends at the store. N thought it was just an ordinary rain. She planned to bath under the rain. I told her it was storming! She looked out her window and saw huge, strong lightning flashes. So she just stayed at home and watched the weather news. Our Internet connection was off because of the bad weather condition.

It Was Ridiculous!

There was an unexpected black out at 12 midnight last night. Gosh! I was in the peak of working on something online when the power went off. All the opened Websites were closed because the computer went off too. The UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) did not work. It was ridiculous!

I looked outside to see if everywhere else was dark but the road lights were on. 'Was wondering if our apartment complex was the only place without electricity. Worried with the unsigned-out accounts, I stayed awake until the power went back about one o'clock in the morning. But still the UPS did not cooperate with me. I was very disappointed. What I did is that I unplugged the Internet connection cable. Then the first thing I did when I woke up in the morning was opening the browser and signed out from the Websites I worked with.
