Complimenting The Friendship

Blogging allows you to meet new friends. I am very proud that I met a friend who is very sincere and kind. Though we are miles away, she keeps in touch. And you know what? She even sent me and my daughter lovely gifts from Brazil! My friend SissyM is so sweet.

I am taking this tag to compliment her friendship, and sharing things about me.

1. I love singing. Yup! But I only do a concert in my house. Sometimes I sing karaoke with friends too.
2. Emotional person. Cry baby.
3. I love the outdoors, except for winter season.
4. The eldest in the family.
5. First time to travel international.
6. Likes going to the mall.
7. I am thoughtful and caring.

Now it is your turn to compliment me. Haha!

What Do You Think Is The Right Age For A Child To Go To School?

Raising kids is not easy. We think of their welfare from the moment they are inside our wombs. We make plans for their future and we work hard to meet the needs such as providing for food on the table, clothing, health care, and education. We do all these because we love them so much. With regards to education, would you consider the thought of sending your children to school at a very young age? With or without children, you can share your thoughts.

::START COPY::

RULES:

1. Add your blog to the list. If you're keeping multiple blogs, it'll be fine if you add them all up and just post your answers in one of those blogs.
2. IMPORTANT: kindly get back to me [MAICEL] so i will be able to visit your sites, read your answers and include you in the master list.
3. Please do copy from Start to End.
4. You may tag as many online friends as you please.

Copy this Participants List:

Simple Delights / Motherhood in a Nutshell / 3 for 100 / Mhar's Display /
Kuting's Place - Life's Adventures, Interests & New Lifestyle /Your blog here

Do you have kids? None but I have niece and nephews

How old are they? One, six and seven
What do you think is the ideal age for the kids to be sent to school? 6 years old
Would you consider sending your 3-year-old toddler to school? No.
Explain your reasons. For me, I want to spend my kids’ toddler years with me, learn and explore together in the family without exposing their young minds to pressure in the school environment.

::END COPY::

Sharing this to all my online friends. I hope you'll take some time answering the few questions.

A Lot of Charms

Oh my! My friends have given me charms lately. They are all packed in my word processor and waiting for me to work on them. I was so busy that’s why I had so limited time. I have to do this or else, I’m in trouble. Hahaha! It is nice to know that there are friends who always remember you. Thanks to Maybel of No Place Like Home, Sveta of Wonderland, Shawie of A Grateful Heart, Glorie of Fit4All, Del of As the World Turns, Malaya, Gilbert/Cely of New Horizon, Crissy of Housewife @ Work, and the cute Kumagcow for this very charming award.

They all are charmed with the blogs, where in the majority of its aims are to show the marvels and to do friendship; there are persons who are not interested when we give them a prize and then they help to cut these bows; do we want that they are cut or that they propagate? Then let’s try to give more attention to them! So with this prize we must deliver it to 8 bloggers that in turn must make the same thing and put this text.

Blogging has been a great blessing to me in my life and it has enriched my days so much. I love hopping in my friends' blogs in the blogging world everyday and I have made so many connections that I truly cherish. I have received three awards recently that I want to highlight. I’m a bit late on two of the awards, because I had a hard time deciding whom to pass along the awards to, since I love so many. :-) I received one award from Dori of Yellow House in England called the “Million Dollar Friend Award”. I am so delightful to receive this.

And this one, I got from Faery Rowan. ‘Wish I got a real Visa Card…lol.

Rules:
1. Only 5 people are allowed to receive this award
2. Four (4) of them are followers of your blog.
3. One has to be new to your blog and live in another part of the world.
4. You must link back to who ever gave you the award.

It's true I have never seen you
and we have never met,
Never shaken Hands or
even truly hugged and yet!

I know for sure you care for
me by the kindness that you give.
And our keyboards keep us
together doesn't matter where we live.

So I give you this gift to
put a smile on your face
and to let you know in my
heart you have a special place.

This time I want to tag along: Dezzmassey, Pinay Writer, Zhoewynz, Annaberly, Sweet Pinay, and Shareen.

Join The Global Olympic Handshake

Angel Baby of Yourcaringangels shared this article with me. I chose to post it here. I am all for peace and a peaceful solution to problems around the world. Since we are all into peace and sportsmanship, I am inviting you to join me in this global handshake which will go all round the world to the Beijing Olympics.

The following message from the wonderful people at Avaaz is very much in this spirit:

As the Beijing Olympics begin, the world looks on with mixed emotions. This is a moment which should bring us closer together, and Chinese citizens deserve their excitement — but the Chinese government still has not opened meaningful dialogue on Tibet, or changed its stance on Burma, Darfur and other pressing issues.

Riots and disruptions of the Olympic torch relay have only helped nationalists whip up Chinese anger. But we cannot stay silent — so what can we do? The answer comes from the Dalai Lama himself, in an unambiguous gesture of Olympic spirit and friendship: a handshake.

It began in London, passed hand to hand by thousands of us — now the handshake has gone online, and is criss-crossing the globe on its way to Beijing. All of us can join, Chinese and non-Chinese, and it comes with a promise: to hold ALL our governments accountable where they fall short, in Tibet, Iraq, Burma or beyond. We will deliver our message in a bold Olympic media campaign before the closing ceremonies: Click here to see how the handshake started, sign up to join in, and watch it circle the globe.
